TechTics is a robotics-focused startup based at the ICCBS Technology Park, Karachi University. The company is dedicated to providing STEM-based education and research and development opportunities in robotics, focusing on empowering students in Pakistan through open-source learning. Currently, TechTics is collaborating with the Aga Khan Education Board for Pakistan to provide free training across various communities nationwide. The organization aims to expand its partnerships with industries to create R&D-focused opportunities for students pursuing degrees in Mechatronics. Educators are also given the chance to enhance their robotics knowledge and integrate it into their teaching practices.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a STEM/Robotics Trainer based in the Karachi South District. The STEM/Robotics Trainer will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective training sessions in robotics and STEM-related topics to students and educators. Other day-to-day tasks include designing practical activities, assisting in troubleshooting and maintenance of robotics systems, promoting STEM education, providing mentorship, and participating in community outreach programs. The trainer will collaborate with other professionals to develop innovative learning approaches and ensure active student participation.

Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with Robotics, including designing, building, and programming robots
  • Proficiency in Robotic Welding and Robot operation
  • Skills in Troubleshooting and Preventive Maintenance of robotic systems
  • Strong mentorship and communication skills to teach STEM and robotics concepts effectively
  • Passion for STEM education and capacity to inspire students and educators
  • Experience in delivering training sessions or workshops is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related field is preferred
