Role Overview

We are seeking a
social media assistant
to support our social media team. The ideal candidate is passionate about social media, up-to-date with online trends, and skilled in organizing and executing content strategies across multiple platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing the company's social media presence across platforms, preferably including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Stay informed about platform algorithms, best practices, and current digital trends.
  • Monitor viral formats, memes, trending hashtags, and cultural shifts to keep content relevant and engaging.
  • Brainstorm and pitch creative ideas for posts, stories, reels, and campaigns in line with the brand's voice.
  • Support the planning and scheduling of content using tools like Hootsuite, Buffer, Later, Zoho social or Planoly.
  • Maintain and update content calendars to ensure timely delivery of posts and campaigns.
  • Assist in coordinating tasks using project management tools such as Trello, Asana, or Notion.
  • Track and share insights on audience engagement, content performance, and competitor activity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in any field from an accredited institution.
  • Prior internship or at least 6 months to 1 year of experience in social media management.
  • Basic understanding of social media platforms and their performance parameters.
  • Basic graphic design skills are preferable ( Canva is a must ).
  • Creative mindset with good communication and writing skills.
  • Familiarity with content scheduling tools, most preferably Zoho social.
  • Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Basic knowledge of the project management tool (Notion) is a plus.
