Sr. Software Developer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Network Architect to design, implement, and optimize enterprise-grade network solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in cloud networking, with a strong preference for Azure, to ensure the scalability, resilience, and performance of global hybrid infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for designing and implementation of enterprise-level cloud landing zone, including all core network and hybrid connectivity solutions.
• Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of enterprise network solutions with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
• Define and document network standards, policies, and architecture blueprints for hybrid and cloud-native environments.
• Collaborate with cloud, security, and application teams to ensure secure, scalable, and compliant network solutions.
• Identify gaps in firewall policies, segmentation, encryption, and traffic monitoring relative to CIS, NIST, and Azure security baselines.
• Validate network controls against Cloud Security requirements for data protection, identity, and access security.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to engineering teams on best practices in cloud networking and automation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues across cloud and on-prem environments.
• Stay current with Azure advancements, networking trends, and security practices, bringing innovative ideas into the architecture roadmap.
• Document evidence for compliance with CIS/NIST frameworks.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 10+ years of network engineering/architecture experience, with at least 4+ years in Azure networking.
• Proven expertise in:
• Azure networking services: ExpressRoute, Azure Virtual WAN, Load Balancers, Application Gateway, Traffic Manager, DNS.
• Network design in hybrid/multi-cloud environments.
• Routing & switching, firewalls, VPNs, SD-WAN.
• Strong understanding of network security principles (Zero Trust, IAM, encryption, segmentation).
• Hands-on experience with automation & IaC tools (Terraform, ARM, Bicep, Ansible, PowerShell).
• Familiarity with monitoring & observability tools (Azure Monitor, Network Watcher, Splunk, etc.).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred certifications:

• Azure Network Engineer Associate (AZ-700)
• Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)
• CCNP/CCIE or equivalent

Nice to Have

• Exposure to other cloud providers (AWS/GCP networking).
• Experience with container networking (Kubernetes, Azure CNI, Istio, Calico).
• Knowledge of enterprise security & compliance frameworks (HIPAA, ISO, NIST, SOC2).
