We are looking for a talented 3D Lighting Artist to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating realistic and visually appealing lighting setups for 3D environments, characters, and scenes. You will work closely with the Lookdev, Texturing, and Compositing teams to ensure consistency in the visual style and storytelling of the project.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, create, and optimize lighting setups for characters, environments, and props in 3D scenes.
  • Work with the Director and Art Team to achieve the desired mood, tone, and cinematic quality.
  • Ensure that lighting supports storytelling and enhances the overall visual narrative.
  • Balance artistic vision with technical limitations of rendering and production pipelines.
  • Collaborate with Lookdev, Compositing, and Rendering teams to integrate lighting seamlessly into final shots.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to lighting and rendering.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, lighting techniques, and rendering technologies.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Lighting Artist in animation, VFX, or game production.
  • Strong understanding of light, color, shadow, and composition.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software (Blender3d).
  • Experience with render engines (Cycles,corona).
  • Basic knowledge of compositing software (Nuke, After Effects, or similar).
  • Ability to work under deadlines and adapt to feedback.
  • Strong artistic eye and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in both stylized and photorealistic lighting.
  • Understanding of PBR workflows and look development.
  • Knowledge of scripting (Python, MEL) is a plus.
  • Previous experience in feature films, TV series, or AAA games.
