Key Responsibilities
:
- Execute thorough manual testing of web applications to ensure functionality, usability, and adherence to requirements.
- Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts using Cypress for both UI and API testing.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support seamless and efficient delivery.
- Identify, log, track, and validate bugs and defects using standardized defect tracking tools.
- Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and execution reports.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA peers to uphold quality standards throughout the lifecycle.
- Conduct regression, integration, and performance testing as needed to validate application behavior.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in software quality assurance with a mix of manual and automation testing.
- Proficiency in Cypress, with experience in both UI and API test automation.
- Strong command of JavaScript/TypeScript, web technologies (HTML, CSS), and REST APIs.
- Familiarity with CI/CD environments and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps).
- Experience using defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
- Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
