GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The selected candidate will work independently on the front-end application of a real-time system while also mentoring junior developers and contributing to architectural decisions. He/She will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex features, resolving performance bottlenecks, and ensuring seamless integration with the back-end systems. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, a keen eye for design, and the ability to deliver high-quality solutions under tight timelines. Occasional late sittings may be required depending on client engagement and project stage.

GENERAL OVERVIEW OF DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Leading the
    development and maintenance 
    of Angular front-end of a real-time system
  • Designing
    modular, scalable, and maintainable
    code architecture
  • Coordinating closely with back-end teams (
    C++ and Java
    ) for seamless integration
  • Reviewing code of junior developers and ensuring adherence to best practices
  • Performing unit testing, integration testing, and ensuring high-quality deliverables
  • Conducting R&D to enhance product performance, scalability, and user experience
  • Participating in client discussions for requirement analysis and solution design
  • Contributing to UI/UX improvements and ensuring alignment with product goals

WORK EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • 6–8 years
    of professional software development experience with strong focus on
    Angular (10+)
  • In-depth understanding of
    Angular framework, change detection, and performance optimization
  • Proven expertise in
    HTML5, CSS3,
    SASS, Bootstrap
    , and responsive
    UI/UX design
  • Strong
    Javascript (ES5/ES6
    ) and
    Typescript
    programming skills
  • Experience with
    client-side state management tools 
    (
    Redux, NgRx
    , or similar)
  • Hands-on experience with
    build tools 
    (
    Webpack, Angular CLI, Gulp
    , etc.)
  • Strong background in 
    design patterns, client-side architecture, and best coding practices
  • TDD/BDD 
    experience with a strong focus on
    writing testable, high-quality code
  • Deep understanding of 
    cross-browser compatibility, security, and performance considerations
  • Experience mentoring junior developers and reviewing code
  • Good to have: familiarity with
    third-party UI libraries 
    like
    Wijmo, Kendo, or PrimeNG
  • Plus:
    NodeJS development
    experience and exposure to
    REST API development in Java
  • Knowledge of
    relational databases (MySQL/Oracle
    ) and query optimization
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as lead within a collaborative environment
  • Exposure to
    real-time applications and Push technology

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent
