Pathwel Center of Hematology and Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing treatment for patients with thalassemia and other hematological disorders. Founded in 1991, Pathwel is affiliated with the Thalassemia International Federation (TIF), Thalassemia Federation of Pakistan (TFP), Center for International Blood and Marrow Transplant Research (CIBMTR) and various other national and international healthcare organisations. Located in Rawalpindi, the center offers bone marrow transplant and diagnostic services for hematological disorders. Pathwel operates a robust management system, ensuring operational efficiency, financial reliability, and high ethical standards.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Lab Technologist specializing in Chemical Pathology, based in Rawalpindi. The Lab Technologist will be responsible for performing routine and specialized laboratory tests, maintaining laboratory equipment, ensuring quality control, and analyzing test results. The individual will collaborate with medical staff to provide accurate and timely results for patient diagnosis and treatment. Deadline: 30 August, PM Pakistan Time)

Qualifications

  • BS MLT with a minimum 1 year of experience in routine chemistry
  • Handling and troubleshooting of the Microlab 300 is a must
  • Proficiency in Medical Technology and Laboratory Skills
  • Experience with Laboratory Equipment and maintaining it
  • Strong Analytical Skills to interpret test results accurately
  • Knowledge of Quality Control processes in a laboratory setting
  • Excellent attention to detail and precision in task execution
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
