ILMA University, formerly known as the Institute of Business & Technology (IBT), was established in 2001 by the Global Education Consultants Society (GEC) to promote higher education crucial for Pakistan's socio-economic progress. It became a degree-awarding institute through an Act of Assembly, Government of Sindh in 2004 and received approval from the Higher Education Commission. ILMA University offers undergraduate and graduate programs in Management & Social Sciences, Computer Science & Information Technology, and Media Sciences. Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Visiting Faculty Member at ILMA University, located in Karachi. The Visiting Faculty Member will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, preparing course materials, conducting research, and engaging in academic advising. The role also includes participating in departmental meetings, contributing to curriculum development, and collaborating with other faculty members. The Visiting Faculty Member is expected to stay updated with the latest developments in their field and continuously improve teaching methodologies.

Qualifications

  • Experience in teaching and developing course materials
  • Strong research skills and the ability to publish in academic journals
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate with colleagues and participate in departmental activities
  • Ph.D. or Master's degree in a relevant field
  • Prior experience in a similar role is a plus
