We're seeking a skilled and experienced AutoCAD draftsman to join our team in a full-time in-office position. Objectives of the role

• Creating precise and detailed technical drawings, consisting of plans, sections, elevations and details using AutoCAD software for architectural projects.
• Collaborating with architects, engineers and project managers to understand design specifications and requirements.
• Maintaining updated and organized records of all design files, revisions, and project documentation systematically.
• Reviewing and interpreting sketches, layouts, and specifications.

Your tasks

• Generate 2D and 3D models and drawings using AutoCAD software.
• Organize and maintain drawing files and project documentation.
• Maintain office CAD standards and templates.
• Coordinate with other drafters and team members to ensure consistency in drawings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate design changes and updates.
• Convert hand sketches and verbal instructions into accurate CAD drawings.
• Prepare layouts and detailed drawings for construction.
• Meet project deadlines and timelines for drawing submissions.
• Stay updated on AutoCAD software updates and industry best practices.

Required skills and qualifications

• Diploma or degree in CAD Drafting from a
  recognized CAD drafting institute
  , Associate Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of demonstrable experience as an AutoCAD draftsman.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD software for 2D/3D modelling.
• Strong understanding of drafting principles, standards and symbols.
• Strong attention to detail and precision in design documentation.
• Excellent organizational, time management and people skills.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations.

Preferred skills and qualifications

• Certification in AutoCAD drafting or related certifications.
• Experience in construction documentation and project management.
• Familiarity with other design software (e.g., Sketchup, SolidWorks, Revit).
• Familiarity with 3D modelling and rendering techniques and visualization tools (
  Lumion, Enscape)
  .
• Ability to create detailed technical documents.
• Familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) concepts.
• Good reading and writing skills in English and Urdu for effective communication.
