Role Description

We are looking for an experienced
Senior Python/Django Developer
with 7–8+ years of proven expertise to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Django, RESTful APIs, and scalable backend systems. You will be responsible for architecting, developing, and maintaining robust web applications that power our international projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned developer to contribute their expertise to a global IT solutions company while maintaining work flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect, design, and develop high-quality, scalable backend systems using
    Python and Django
    .
  • Build and maintain
    RESTful APIs
    and integrate them with front-end applications.
  • Optimize database structures and ensure high performance with PostgreSQL/MySQL.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (designers, frontend devs, product managers) to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
  • Implement authentication, authorization, and secure coding standards.
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize applications for performance and scalability.
  • Stay updated with the latest Python/Django trends, tools, and frameworks.

Qualifications

  • 7–8+ years
    of professional experience in Python and Django development.
  • Strong expertise in building and scaling
    Django-based applications
    .
  • Solid experience with
    RESTful APIs, PostgreSQL/MySQL
    , and ORM frameworks.
  • Familiarity with
    front-end technologies
    (React, Vue, or Angular) is a plus.
  • Experience with
    Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
    is an advantage.
  • Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance optimization skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory with equivalent experience).
