Graphic Designer (Digital and Print)

Kifayat Publishers, a leading educational publishing house dedicated to making world-class educational resources accessible to students and teachers in Pakistan, is seeking a skilled Graphic Designer to join our development team on a contractual basis. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing visually compelling layouts and graphics across digital and print media, ensuring that our educational content is presented in an accessible, aesthetically pleasing, and impactful manner.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.

· Minimum 1-2 years of experience in graphic design (experience in children's educational content is a plus). Fresh graduates with internship experiences may be considered.

· Portfolio showcasing a range of print design and digital design projects (e.g., web visuals, digital publications, marketing materials).

Key Responsibilities:

· Plan and deliver social media strategy across multiple platforms. This includes developing and implementing a content calendar for the smooth roll-out of posts and other materials.

· Design creative layouts and visuals for Kifayat Publishers' digital platforms as well as print materials such as textbooks, catalogs and other promotional materials.

· Collaborate with design and content team to develop and showcase engaging educational content across all media.

· Maintain design consistency across all media while ensuring quality and accessibility standards. This includes optimizing graphics, images and other elements for web, mobile and print formats.

Skills:

· Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or equivalent tools, with working knowledge of motion graphics, video editing, or animation software considered an advantage.

· Strong sense of visual design, including typography, color theory, and layout for digital as well as print media.

· Experience designing for digital platforms, with a strong focus on user engagement.

· Familiarity with print production processes, including file setup, color management, and printing specifications.

· Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.

· Highly organized and proactive, capable of managing multiple design workflows efficiently while meeting deadlines.
