SQA Executive - Share-e-Faisal, Karachi

Symits is looking for a skilled executive:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Design, develop, and execute manual test cases for web, mobile, and desktop applications.

Identify, document, and report software defects, inconsistencies, and usability issues.

Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and ensure thorough testing coverage.

Conduct functional, regression, integration, system, and UI/UX testing to validate application behavior.

Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business and technical requirements.

Verify bug fixes and perform retesting before deployment.

Participate in agile/scrum meetings, providing testing feedback and recommendations.

Ensure compliance with industry best practices and company quality standards.

Work with cross-functional teams to continuously improve the testing process and enhance product quality

Experience in cross-browser and cross-platform testing.

Familiarity with basic SQL queries for database validation.

Exposure to security and performance testing.

Knowledge of agile testing methodologies.

Strong understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle).

Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr, or similar).

Knowledge of bug tracking and defect management.

Ability to write clear and concise test cases and test reports.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Understanding of API testing, database testing, and performance testing is a plus.

Familiarity with automation testing concepts (optional but beneficial).

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs25, Rs50,000.00 per month
