Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Gard at Astronomers of Humboldt, located in Rahim Yar Khan District. The Gard will be responsible for observing and recording celestial events, operating telescopes and other astronomical instruments, maintaining and calibrating equipment, assisting with research projects, and educating the public about astronomy through presentations and events.

Qualifications

• Experience in operating and maintaining telescopes and other astronomical instruments
• Skills in observing and recording celestial events
• Proficiency in conducting and assisting with research projects
• Ability to educate and engage the public through presentations and events
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience in astronomy or related fields is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Astronomy, Physics, or related field
