Gate Keeper

Job Summary:

The Time Keeper & Gate Control Officer is responsible for managing the attendance system and controlling entry/exit points at the factory. The role ensures strict compliance with company procedures for personnel and material movement, accurate timekeeping for all employees, and coordination with HR for payroll and attendance reporting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and authorize the entry and exit of employees, visitors, vehicles, and contractors.
• Maintain visitor logs and issue entry passes after verifying identity and purpose.
• Ensure that gate passes and delivery challans are duly signed and verified before allowing material movement.
• Prevent unauthorized access to factory premises by following company protocols.
• Record employee attendance using biometric or manual systems as per company policy.
• Monitor shift timings, late arrivals, early departures, and absences.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly attendance summaries for HR and payroll processing.
• Maintain accurate records of overtime and ensure they are authorized by relevant department heads.
• Coordinate with HR and department heads to verify leave approvals and shift changes.
• Notify relevant departments of visitor arrivals or material deliveries.
• Report any suspicious or irregular activities at the gate to factory management immediately.
• Maintain proper documentation of all gate movements (persons and materials).
• Ensure timely submission of attendance sheets and movement registers to HR.
• Assist during audits by providing access to gate logs and timekeeping records.

Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor's degree from a recognized institution
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in a factory or industrial setup
• Working knowledge of attendance systems (manual/biometric) and basic administrative procedures.
• must be comfortable in rotational shift
• Strong sense of discipline, integrity, and vigilance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs37, Rs40,000.00 per month
