Role Overview

We are hiring a
Trade Policy Analyst
to support technical research and strategic analysis across regional integration, customs modernization, and corridor performance. The role blends thematic research with applied advisory work, supporting institutional clients in aligning trade systems with global standards and resilience frameworks.

This role suits professionals with a solid grounding in trade governance, policy analysis, or regional development who are eager to contribute to impactful strategy projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and policy analysis on trade facilitation, logistics modernization, and customs reforms
  • Support development of technical reports and comparative diagnostics for cross-border trade systems
  • Draft strategic briefs, institutional assessments, and actionable policy recommendations
  • Monitor regional trade initiatives, digital infrastructure projects, and regulatory harmonization trends
  • Contribute to stakeholder mapping, validation workshop prep, and regional foresight exercises
  • Translate complex trade challenges into clear insights for public and development-sector stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Background in Public Policy, International Trade, Infrastructure Economics, or related fields
  • 3–6 years of experience in trade policy research, development consulting, or public-sector strategy
  • Familiarity with trade facilitation programs, donor-funded initiatives, or regional corridor strategies
  • Strong research and writing skills; fluency in English required
