This Position contributes to Bayer Pakistan Pharmaceutical as a
Manager Commercial Effectiveness & Business Analyst
, who ensures the best-in-class Commercial Execution supported effectively through relevant SFE/SFA capabilities. The CE&BA Manager plays a pivotal role in driving Incentive Design and Administration, Resource Allocation Analytics, Execution KPIs (ExD TVAs), Right Deployment, Planning/ Execution, Analytical Diagnostics, Business Insight/Reporting solutions and best practice data management principles (People, Customer and Product level).
These actions help to enable strategy implementation leading to future success and organization's sustainable profitable growth for PKCG. This role demands both strategic thinking and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, collaborative environment ,contributing to PT & CT teams advancing overall portfolio performance.
YOUR TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Commercial Effectiveness (CE):
1. NorthStar (Bayer Sales Tracking & Analytical Reporting Platform)
a.
Providing service level for Sales Tracking & Analytical Reporting to Commercial team:
- By ensuring on daily basis, aligning all distributor's invoice level secondary sales data.
- By ensuring Direct Sales from Bayer (primary) check/validated and update.
b.
Mapping distributor customers/chemist for proper handling and extract crystal clear sales value/volume as per the above-mentioned steps:
- By ensuring customer/chemist proper allocation in brick follow before closing month.
c.
Invoice/Batch/product level wise data compiled on daily basis and provided to Commercial teams at Brick/Territory/Product Value/Volume on monthly basis.
d.
Check and validate depots data alignment as per NorthSTAR format authenticate and then updated.
e.
Conduct regular distributor visits to ensure data accuracy and integrity. When unusual sales patterns are detected, carry out surprise audits including stock and sales analysis, to validate data and promptly address any discrepancies.
2. Data Quality Assurance (for audit and system audit purpose):
a.
Data accuracy: ensure accurate sales incentive calculations by verifying data reliability against trusted sources.
b.
Data consistency: uniformity of data across different database systems.
c.
Data uniqueness: identifying and eliminating duplicate entries and record.
d.
Data timelines: ensure that updated data is available for operational analysis.
e.
Data governance: establishing policies and standards for data management for quality assurance.
3. Operational Analysis:
a.
Develop and analyze reports such as monthly sales analysis, sales trend analysis, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate operational effectiveness and ensure data quality.
b.
Analyzing system efficiency, speed, and responsiveness for operational efficiency.
c.
Reviewing operational processes to find bottlenecks or inefficiencies that can be streamlined.
d.
Investigating discrepancies in data or operation failure to determine the underlying causes.
e.
Evaluating the data access to ensure security measures are in place.
Business Analyst (BA):
- Business Dashboard of BU/Zone/Area/Territory level enabling improved management decision making.
- Designing, commercial benchmarking, financial modeling and end-to-end implementation of company Sales Incentive Program(SIP).
- Ensuring timely submissions of reports to stakeholders for monthly / quarterly and management level meeting.
- Coordinating with HR for Sales Team-related payouts.
- Maintaining records for Annual Awards and Brand recognitions.
- Spearheading external Data Analytics (Market Research, IQVIA and SFE)
- Preparing, modeling and implementing commercial team's targets.
WHO YOU ARE:
- Education:
Bachelor degree in allied disciplines. (Business, MIS & Data Analytics) higher education with relevant exposure will be preferred) - Experience:
3-5 years or above experience within pharmaceuticals or FMCG industry of handling business insights, sales tracking, data mining and reporting. - Proven expertise for managing Management Information System (M.I.S) by demonstrating proficiency on project management concepts, understanding data structure building, clarity of data mining, able to provide workable solutions at functional level.
- Demonstrated proficiency in successfully providing reporting solutions to business stakeholders
- Expert Analytical Skills (Python, Azure, R, SQL will be preferred)
- Advanced Excel and data modelling skills
- Tableau and Power BI
- Strong interpersonal / relationship building skills
- Ability to develop and implement innovative ideas and creative concepts.
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance; determine own priorities and monitor resources within own work
- Proven ability to think strategically and act operationally
- Proficient in English communication and experiences to work with large local / regional team and projects.
