Responsibilities:

  • Edit video content for various projects ensuring a cohesive and high-quality output.
  • Collaborate closely with the creative team to meet project specifications and deadlines.
  • Use software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and After Effects to assemble recorded footage into a finished project
  • Ensure logical sequencing and smooth transitions, with attention to audio, color correction, and effects.
  • Input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects to enhance the visual storytelling.
  • Organize and manage all audio and video assets to ensure a smooth workflow.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and editing techniques to continuously improve output.

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as a Video Editor for 1-2 years.
  • A strong portfolio that demonstrates both creativity and technical skills.
  • Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Da Vinci Resolve and After Effects.
  • Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages.
  • Familiarity with special effects, 3D animation, and compositing.
  • Attention to detail with a strong sense of storytelling.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in film studies, Cinematography, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with a team.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and storytelling.
  • Experience in color grading and audio editing is a plus.

Work Setting:

  • This position requires working in person. Remote or freelance applications will also be considered.
  • Availability to work full-time with a flexible schedule to accommodate project needs.
