Rotary Technician

Job purpose:

Roatry Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the upkeep, functionality, and safety of rotating machinery, systems, and facilities. This role involves performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and addressing repairs to ensure a well-maintained. He will be primarily assigned to execute the maintenance of Coal Handling System and Dewatering pumps.

Key Responsibilities:

• Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on various types of rotating machinery, ensuring they operate within specified tolerances and safety standards. This will include all dewatering pumping systems and machinery at pumping stations
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues in rotating equipment. Identify root causes and implement corrective actions to resolve problems promptly.
• Installation and Commissioning: Assist in the installation and commissioning of new rotating equipment, ensuring proper alignment, calibration, and functionality.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and spare parts inventory. Generate reports and documentation as required.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols, guidelines, and regulations while working with rotating machinery. Promote a culture of safety within the team.
• Predictive Maintenance: Utilize condition monitoring tools and techniques (vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis, etc.) to predict equipment failures and recommend maintenance strategies.
• Spare Parts Management: Manage and control spare parts inventory for rotating equipment, ensuring the availability of critical components when needed.

Pay: Rs80, Rs130,000.00 per month
