Overview:

The Web Developer & Website Manager is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining client websites with a strong emphasis on conversion-focused funnel optimization. This role requires a creative yet technical expert who can deliver new website builds, implement design enhancements, and conduct routine technical upkeep—including security audits, mobile optimization, and performance improvements. The ideal candidate is proficient with WordPress, modern design tools, and has experience integrating technical enhancements into dynamic, high‑converting web experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

* New Website Development & Build Management:

* Create and manage new client websites and web pages using WordPress and AI‑driven design tools.

* Maintain active builds by implementing design updates, adding new features (e.g., extra contact forms, enhanced blog sections), and ensuring seamless integration with overall campaign strategies.

* Funnel & Conversion Optimization:

* Optimize landing pages, CTAs, and user flows for selected focus clients, leveraging A/B testing and performance data to refine conversion paths.

* Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align technical enhancements with marketing messaging.

* Technical Upkeep & Performance Enhancements:

* Conduct regular security audits (updating captchas, SSL, firewall settings) and perform routine plugin and theme updates.

* Improve mobile responsiveness, load speeds, and overall site performance through code refinements and caching adjustments.

* Collaboration & Communication:

* Participate in daily stand‑ups and team check‑ins to review client priorities, project statuses, and technical challenges.

* Work closely with Digital Marketing, SEO, and Advertising teammates to ensure technical elements support broader campaign goals.

* Documentation & QA:

* Maintain clear documentation of website updates, technical adjustments, and build processes.

* Conduct comprehensive QA tests across browsers and devices to ensure optimal functionality and user experience.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

* Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript (or similar languages) and experience working with WordPress (including theme and plugin customization).

* Demonstrated ability to design and implement conversion‑focused web experiences.

* Experience with A/B testing, performance analytics, and mobile optimization techniques.

* Familiarity with security best practices and routine technical maintenance for web platforms.

* Excellent problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams
