Azure DevOps Engineer

Working for a UK based company, with offices in London & Lahore the network administrator's role is to ensure the stable operation of all company wider network and services, locally and internationally. This includes planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all network hardware, software, and communication links.

Job responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines according to Cloudflare DNS, WAF, Securities with Pages Rules, Cache Rules etc.
• Design, implement, and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using Open source Tools, Azure/AWS DevOps, Gitlab CI, Github Actions, Open enabling efficient and reliable software delivery.
• Develop and manage infrastructure as code (IaaC) using customize templates or similar tools to ensure consistent and repeatable deployments.
• Collaborate closely with software engineers to automate and improve the build, deployment, and release processes using agile methology and monolithic architect and 3-Teir architect.
• Create and manage release definitions, deployment strategies, and configurations within DevOps with software engineers and pm timlines.
• Implement security best practices within the DevOps environment, ensuring data protection and compliance with industry standards of DevSecOps.
• Monitor and troubleshoot pipeline and deployment issues, and implement solutions to enhance performance and reliability.
• Work with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
• Stay updated with the latest DevOps features and trends to propose and implement relevant enhancements.

Required Skills:

• BS degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years of the experience in the relevant field.
• Extensive experience with AWS/Azure cloud.
• Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell and Bash.
• Strong proficiency in Cloudflare as CDN, WAF etc.
• Extensive experience setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines within DevOps.
• CI/CD Pipeline Implementation with Jenkins, Gitlab CI, Github CI/CD, Argo CD.
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git, Gitlab with advance workflows and its integration with DevOps.
• Container Orchestration with Kubernetes
• Infrastructure as Code with Terraform & Ansible
• Monitoring & Logging with Zabbix, Prometheus & Grafana
• Solid understanding of AWS/Azure cloud services and infrastructure components.
• Previous involvement in implementing security practices and compliance within Azure environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Relevant Azure certifications such as Microsof Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert or related certifications would be a plus.
• Experience with AWS Services would be plus.
• Strong experience in Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB, Redis with Replication, clustering, backup management
• Working Experience in IIS, Nginx and Apache with proxies, reverse proxies etc.
• Experience and knowledge in network protocols (e.g. WINS, DNS, TCP/IP)
• Security in DevOps (DevSecOps Practices)
• Familiarity with cloud networking and traffic management (VPCs, load balancers, network segregation)
• Experience with firewalls, Internet VPNs remote implementation, troubleshooting and problem resolution is desired.
• Great at organizing, prioritizing and multitasking.
