As a Software Engineer III - BE, you will:
- Design and develop advanced applications and integrate new software solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new application functionalities related to integrations with external software.
- Actively participate in work planning during team meetings.
- Conduct code reviews and support colleagues in maintaining code quality.
- Develop software in PHP and related languages, adhering to established coding standards.
- Troubleshoot and improve application performance.
- Implement new technologies and continuously improve the development process.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Director or authorized personnel.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and apply them to workforce management solutions like Humanity.
Requirements
- 4-6 years of software development experience with PHP and MySQL.
- Strong experience with Git.
- A comprehensive understanding of OOP concepts.
- Excellent coding skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Passion for ingenuity.
- Mid-level product and high technical knowledge.
- Ability to analyze and solve increasingly complicated problems.
- Extensive knowledge of Agile and Scrum development methodologies.
- Ability to understand requirements and solve technical issues with minimal supervision.
- Previous experience working on SaaS projects, ideally in workforce management or other enterprise solutions.
Nice to have:
- Experience building scheduling, time-tracking, or calendar-based features.
- Some experience with working on front end technologies like Java script frameworks, preferably React JS.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
