With an aim to become number one construction chemical company in Pakistan, Sika Pakistan opened its head office in Lahore with regional offices in Karachi, Islamabad and Faisalabad. Simultaneously, Sika Pakistan also launched its manufacturing facility in Lahore during the first year of the start of operations in Pakistan to facilitate its customer needs.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Procurement Manager to lead all procurement and supply chain operations within our construction chemicals business. This role reports directly to the CEO and is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, optimizing procurement processes, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership capabilities, a deep understanding of cost control, and a commitment to ethical, sustainable procurement practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans that align with company objectives.
  • Lead and manage a team of procurement professionals across direct and indirect categories.
  • Drive cost reduction initiatives while maintaining quality and delivery standards.
  • Monitor and control procurement budgets, including CAPEX/OPEX, ensuring timely project completion.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
  • Identify and mitigate procurement and supply chain risks proactively.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and corporate standards in all procurement activities.
  • Optimize procurement workflows for efficiency and transparency.
  • Stay abreast of market trends, emerging risks, and industry best practices.
  • Foster a culture of innovation in sourcing and supplier engagement.
  • Promote sustainability, supplier diversity, and socially responsible sourcing practices.
  • Support strategic business planning by contributing procurement insights to executive leadership.

Qualifications

  • MBA in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of relevant procurement experience, preferably in construction chemicals or manufacturing.
  • Professional certification such as CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) or CPP (Certified Procurement Professional) is a strong plus.
  • Proven leadership and team management experience.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing multi-million-dollar procurement budgets.
  • Advanced negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, SAP BYD) and procurement analytics tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive innovation, sustainability, and risk resilience in supply chains
