We are looking for Jr.IT & Operations Executive who will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of the organization's technological infrastructure and day-to-day office operations. This role combines technical expertise with practical administrative oversight to maintain reliable IT systems, a safe and efficient workplace, and effective operational support for all departments.
Key Responsibilities
- IT Responsibilities
· Maintain, configure, and troubleshoot office IT infrastructure, including computers, printers, scanners, and networking equipment.
· Install, update, and manage software applications used by the organization.
· Provide technical support to staff for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
· Manage company email accounts, cloud storage, and user access permissions.
· Monitor and maintain data backup systems and ensure cybersecurity measures are in place.
· Liaise with IT vendors for procurement, repairs, and upgrades of IT equipment.
· Maintain an up-to-date IT asset inventory with proper tagging and tracking of devices.
· Maintain records of hardware allocated to employees and keep updated sheets of all IT-related credentials, other system credentials, and access lists.
· Set up and support video conferencing tools, projectors, and other meeting-related IT needs.
· Perform regular system checks to ensure optimal performance of IT infrastructure.
Operations Responsibilities
Oversee repair and maintenance work for office facilities and equipment as required.
- Ensure availability and proper management of office utilities (electricity, water, internet, etc.).
- Manage procurement and stock of office supplies, stationery, and consumables.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and a safe working environment in the office.
- Monitor and implement workplace health & safety standards.
- Supervise office support staff (e.g., peon/office boy) and ensure their tasks are carried out effectively.
- Coordinate with service providers for cleaning, pest control, and facility maintenance.
Other Role Requirements
- Occasional Travel: Required for purchasing office equipment, IT-related supplies, bank transactions, vendor coordination, and other official tasks.
- After-Hours Availability: May be required to work beyond standard office hours or on weekends for urgent IT issues or operational needs.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field; OR Diploma/Certificates in IT.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in IT support and/or office administration.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, networking, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with software installation, updates, and user management.
- Excellent problem-solving, multitasking, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Good communication skills and a proactive, service-oriented approach.
- Candidates who can join on an urgent basis will be given preference.
- The incumbent must have his own bike.
Working Conditions
- Office-based role with occasional off-site visits for procurement, maintenance, or vendor coordination.
- Flexibility to work extended hours or weekends as required by operational or IT-related emergencies.
