Overview:

As a Production Manager at Pakistan's largest mobile accessories manufacturing factory, you will oversee all aspects of the production process to ensure the efficient and timely manufacturing of high-quality mobile accessories. You will be responsible for managing production schedules, optimising workflow, and implementing quality control measures to meet production targets while maintaining product quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement production plans and schedules to meet customer demand and production targets.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the production floor, including managing production staff, equipment, and resources effectively.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards, safety regulations, and efficiency goals.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, minimise waste, and optimise resource utilisation.
  • Coordinate with other departments, such as procurement, engineering, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless production operations and timely product delivery.
  • Train, mentor, and motivate production staff to ensure high performance, job satisfaction, and skill development.
  • I'd like for you to conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement corrective actions as needed to address any performance issues.
  • Maintain accurate production records, analyse production data, and prepare reports to track key performance indicators and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement strategies for achieving production targets, improving efficiency, and reducing costs.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations related to production operations, quality control, and workplace safety.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, operations management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a production management role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the consumer electronics or mobile accessories industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse production team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make timely decisions under pressure.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control principles, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Proficiency in using production management software and tools to plan, monitor, and analyse production activities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organisational skills with a keen attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
