Pakistan BESTSELLER Full time 1,200,000 - 2,400,000 per year

As a People Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the overall HR operations and people-related activities for the BESTSELLER Pakistan office in Lahore, as well as liaising with the regional office for alignment.

More specifically, your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide full spectrum of HR operations support  to the Pakistan office and manage the end-to-end employee life cycle including recruitment, on and off boarding, performance management, learning & development, employee relations, employee engagement and etc.
  • Partner with business leaders and line managers to understand business needs and provide HR solutions that support operational goals and workforce effectiveness
  • Collaborate with the Regional PEOPLE Business Partner on the Global and Regional HR initiatives to support the business goals. 
  • Assist in managing HR costs, salary structures, and budget tracking.
  • Support employee relations and help resolve workplace issues effectively.
  • Facilitate training needs assessment and organize learning sessions.
  • Assist in employee engagement initiatives and contribute to a positive work culture.
  • Handle ad-hoc tasks assigned by superiors

Success criteria
  • Manage and execute the day-to-day HR activities in a professional and efficient way
  • Deliver the Regional PEOPLE initiatives to support the business goals
  • Managers are supported in the wanted and needed way in all employee relation issues
  • Close cooperation with CR and managers
  • New employees are onboarded in a proper and professional way to adapt well to our company values and culture
  • Live up and advocate the BESTSELLER founding principles

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in HR operations, preferably within the fashion and sourcing industry. Experience in liaison office settings is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Well-versed knowledge of local labour regulations and requirements and best HR practices
  • Familiarity with SAP or similar HR systems would be advantageous
  • Self-driven for excellence, proactive and passionate with growth and agile mindset
  • Independent, reliable, analytical, people-oriented with effective communication skill and time management skills to manage multi-tasks in a fast pace environment
  • Ability to build positive employee relations, handle sensitive information, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Immediate availability is highly preferred
