Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive
AWS Development Operations Engineer
with at least 2 years of experience
to join our growing technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for building, deploying, automating, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines on
Amazon Web Services (AWS)
. You will collaborate with software engineers, QA, and IT operations to support agile development and ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available AWS infrastructure.
  • Automate provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CodePipeline).
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across development, testing, and production environments.
  • Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting using tools like CloudWatch, ELK, Prometheus, or Datadog.
  • Ensure cloud security best practices, including IAM roles, policies, encryption, and network segmentation.
  • Collaborate with development teams to support containerized applications using Docker and orchestration tools like ECS, EKS, or Kubernetes.
  • Participate in on-call rotations, incident response, and post-mortem analysis.
  • Continuously improve automation, reliability, and development workflows.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or similar role.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, etc.).
  • Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or similar.
  • Proficiency with CI/CD tools and version control (Git).
  • Familiarity with container technologies (Docker, ECS, EKS, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Understanding of networking, security best practices, and cost optimization in the cloud.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect).
  • Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
  • Knowledge of serverless architectures and microservices.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
