Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Tax Accountant Assistant based in Lahore
. The Tax Accountant Assistant will assist in preparing statements, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. Daily tasks include, supporting finance-related activities, and maintaining accurate financial documentation. The assistant will also collaborate with senior accountants and other team members to deliver exceptional service to clients.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Prepare and file monthly/quarterly sales tax returns.
  2. Complete and submit individual and business income tax returns.
  3. Process invoices and ensure accuracy.
  4. Generate and manage monthly and quarterly financial reports.
  5. Provide general administrative and clerical support to the finance team.

Qualifications

  • Experience with IRIS and General Accounting knowledge
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related Field (B.COM)
