We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Internal Auditor to support our audit team in evaluating and enhancing financial and operational processes. The ideal candidate will assist in performing audit procedures, identifying discrepancies, and recommending improvements to strengthen internal controls.

Key Responsibilities

The Junior Internal Auditor will work closely with the audit team lead and will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in the execution of agreed-upon audit procedures across various finance functions.
  • Performing detailed reviews and audits of departmental processes, including:
  • Assessing refund processing timelines.
  • Verifying the accuracy and compliance of refund procedures.
  • Reconciling transactions across all payment gateways.
  • Verifying payments made to vendors and related parties.
  • Performing reconciliation of payment records.
  • Reconciling the organization's Order Management System to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Identifying discrepancies and control weaknesses.
  • Providing recommendations to enhance the effectiveness of internal controls and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Fresh to 1 year of experience
  • ACCA Part-Qualified or Finalist/CAF (Certified Accounting & Finance) Part-Qualified/ICMA (Institute of Cost and Management Accountants) Part-Qualified
  • Strong understanding of financial processes and internal audit standards
  • Ability to interpret and analyze financial data and documentation

Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Good understanding of accounting principles and reconciliation procedures
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage time and meet deadlines in a remote work environment
