Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Web Scraper based in Islāmābād, Pakistan. The Web Scraper will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web scraping scripts and tools for large-scale data extraction. Key tasks include building and optimizing web scraping pipelines, solving anti-bot challenges, working with proxies, and ensuring data cleanliness and reliability. The Web Scraper will collaborate with the broader data engineering team to ensure seamless data integration for analytics and decision-making purposes.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Web Scraping
  • tool Scrapy, selenium, playwright, requests, BeautfulSoup, Postgres, airflow
  • Strong skills in Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) for designing and structuring web elements
  • Experience with Web Analytics to measure and optimize scraping performance
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to overcome challenges such as anti-bot measures and CAPTCHA mechanisms
  • Previous experience with data engineering pipelines, automation, or similar roles is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
