Key Responsibilities:

  • Write clear, persuasive, and original copy for websites, emails, ads, social media, product descriptions, and more.
  • Collaborate with marketing, design, and product teams to develop content aligned with campaign objectives.
  • Edit and proofread copy to ensure high editorial standards are met across all content outputs.
  • Conduct research on industry-related topics and trends to develop content strategies.
  • Adapt writing style to different brands, tones, and audiences.
  • Ensure consistency in brand messaging and voice across all communication channels.
  • Optimize copy for SEO when necessary.
  • Stay up to date with content trends, best practices, and competitor activity.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a copywriter or related role (portfolio required).
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Strong understanding of marketing, branding, and user psychology.
  • Familiarity with SEO principles is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field (preferred but not always required).

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with digital marketing or advertising agencies.
  • Knowledge of CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress).
  • Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Understanding of UX writing and content strategy.
