We are looking for a highly experienced
Java Architect
with deep expertise in
Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, and Keycloak
, along with practical exposure to
LLM-based conversational AI integrations
. The role involves designing and leading scalable enterprise backend architectures, mentoring teams, and ensuring high availability, performance, and security across distributed systems.

This position is ideal for a hands-on technical leader passionate about architecting modern enterprise solutions, integrating AI capabilities, and driving engineering excellence across product teams.

Architecture & Backend Engineering

  • Architect, design, and implement scalable backend systems using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
  • Define system architecture, integration points, and microservices communication standards.
  • Lead the implementation of event-driven architecture leveraging Kafka for distributed messaging and streaming.
  • Design and manage authentication and authorization frameworks using Keycloak or similar IAM tools.
  • Guide the integration of LLM-based conversational AI (e.g., ChatGPT, OpenAI APIs) into backend workflows.
  • Oversee code quality, technical reviews, and engineering best practices to ensure reliability and maintainability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams — product, data, and DevOps — to align technology with business objectives.
  • Drive performance tuning, observability, and security compliance across applications.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  • Mentor and guide development teams, promoting a culture of technical excellence.
  • Partner with business and product stakeholders to define scalable, future-proof solutions.
  • Ensure end-to-end delivery across the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Stay ahead of emerging trends in cloud-native, AI-driven, and distributed systems architectures.
  • Document architectural decisions, patterns, and technical roadmaps for organizational knowledge sharing.

What You Know

  • Core Expertise: Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
  • Event Streaming: Deep hands-on experience with Kafka (distributed messaging, data streaming).
  • Security & IAM: Working knowledge of Keycloak or similar identity management systems.
  • AI/LLM Integration: Experience embedding LLM services (e.g., OpenAI, HuggingFace APIs) into backend systems.
  • Cloud Architecture: Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP for scalable cloud deployments.
  • Leadership: Proven experience leading architecture decisions and mentoring engineering teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Implementation of CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
  • Knowledge of observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and collaborative product environments.
  • Understanding of security best practices in distributed and cloud-native applications.

Education

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
