Role Description
This is a Hybrid role for a Senior Business Developer at IMTA. The Senior BD will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new B2B opportunities, cultivating client relationships, and driving revenue growth through strategic outreach and partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead B2B lead generation and outreach via LinkedIn, email campaigns, business networking, and web research.
- Identify and approach potential clients businesses that need services such as web development, digital marketing, analytics, cloud services, etc.
- Write persuasive business proposals, respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and negotiate and close high-value deals.
- Collaborate with IMTA's technical, marketing, and analytics teams to ensure client requirements are properly understood and translated into service offerings.
- Maintain a strong follow-up strategy to convert leads into long-term clients.
- Monitor market trends in digital marketing, tech, analytics to identify new service opportunities, competitive threats, or emerging sectors.
- Track, analyze, and report on business development metrics (lead conversion rates, deal sizes, outreach effectiveness etc.).
Technical Requirements
- Minimum 3-4 years of proven experience in business development, specifically in a B2B context.
- Strong track record of generating leads and closing deals via LinkedIn, cold emailing, networking Not relying on Upwork, Fiverr or other freelancing platforms.
- Proficiency with tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, , (or similar), and experience using a CRM (e.g. HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce).
- Good understanding of digital marketing services (SEO, PPC, Social Media Marketing, Content Marketing), software/web development, analytics, cloud solutions.
- Experience in proposal writing, pricing strategies for international and domestic clients, and negotiating contracts.
- Ability to interpret technical requirements and translate into project briefs that can be executed by technical/creative teams.
Qualifications & Personal Skills
- Strong sales & negotiation skills; ability to build rapport with senior decision-makers.
- Excellent communication (written & verbal), presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, target driven, able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related field. Advanced degree or certifications are a plus.
- Prior experience in the digital marketing / tech / analytics industry is highly desirable.
