Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Karachi . The WordPress Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining WordPress websites to meet client requirements. Tasks include creating custom WordPress themes and plugins, improving website performance and security, performing regular site maintenance, and troubleshooting technical issues. The developer will collaborate with the design and marketing teams to ensure a seamless user experience and aesthetic consistency. Additionally, the role requires keeping up with the latest WordPress updates and trends to implement innovative solutions.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in WordPress development, including creating custom themes and plugins, along with knowledge of WordPress APIs.
  • Strong skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP to build responsive and dynamic designs.
  • Understanding of website optimization, performance enhancement, and SEO best practices.
  • Experience with MySQL database management and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git and deployment processes for WordPress websites.
  • Problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in UI/UX design principles is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field preferred.
