BBQ Chef

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a wide variety of BBQ items (e.g., seekh kebabs, chapli kebabs, tikkas, malai boti, barbecued ribs) according to Haveli Inn's secret recipes and standards.
  • Expertly manage the grilling, roasting, and tandoori cooking processes to achieve perfect flavor, tenderness, and presentation.
  • Marinate meats using traditional spices and ingredients, ensuring consistency and depth of flavor in every batch.
  • Monitor inventory levels for the BBQ station and assist in ordering supplies to ensure freshness and avoid shortages.
  • Maintain impeccable hygiene and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations.
  • Supervise and guide the BBQ Helper, ensuring efficient workflow and quality output.
  • Continuously ensure the quality of all dishes before they are served to guests.
  • Assist in developing new BBQ dishes and specials to keep our menu exciting.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience of 3-4 years as a BBQ Chef, Grill Chef, or similar role in a reputable restaurant.
  • Exceptional knowledge of Pakistani BBQ spices, marinades, and cooking techniques.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak hours.
  • Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating visually appealing dishes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle heavy equipment.
