BBQ Chef
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a wide variety of BBQ items (e.g., seekh kebabs, chapli kebabs, tikkas, malai boti, barbecued ribs) according to Haveli Inn's secret recipes and standards.
- Expertly manage the grilling, roasting, and tandoori cooking processes to achieve perfect flavor, tenderness, and presentation.
- Marinate meats using traditional spices and ingredients, ensuring consistency and depth of flavor in every batch.
- Monitor inventory levels for the BBQ station and assist in ordering supplies to ensure freshness and avoid shortages.
- Maintain impeccable hygiene and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Supervise and guide the BBQ Helper, ensuring efficient workflow and quality output.
- Continuously ensure the quality of all dishes before they are served to guests.
- Assist in developing new BBQ dishes and specials to keep our menu exciting.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience of 3-4 years as a BBQ Chef, Grill Chef, or similar role in a reputable restaurant.
- Exceptional knowledge of Pakistani BBQ spices, marinades, and cooking techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak hours.
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating visually appealing dishes.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle heavy equipment.
