Job Overview:

The Data Annotator will be responsible for accurately labeling and categorizing data to support the training and refinement of our AI models. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and an understanding of data quality standards. The ideal candidate will ensure that data labeling is performed efficiently, consistently, and in alignment with project goals.

Key Responsibilities:

i) Data Labeling
:

  • Accurately label, categorize, and tag images, videos, and other data types based on established guidelines.
  • Annotate specific features, objects, and characteristics in datasets that are essential for AI training.
  • Review and validate labeled data for accuracy, ensuring consistency across datasets.

ii) Quality Assurance
:

  • Conduct regular checks and audits to ensure high-quality labeling, minimizing errors and inconsistencies.
  • Collaborate with the AI team to refine labeling guidelines and processes to improve data quality.
  • Identify areas for improvement in labeling accuracy and efficiency.

iii) Documentation and Reporting
:

  • Maintain detailed records of labeling progress, data quality, and any issues encountered.
  • Provide feedback to the team on labeling challenges or ambiguities to enhance labeling guidelines.
  • Prepare reports as needed, outlining labeling completion rates and data accuracy metrics.

Qualifications
:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a background in data science, computer science, or a related field is a plus.
  • Previous experience with data annotation tools or software (e.g., Labelbox, Supervisely, CVAT) is preferred but not required.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in labeling and categorizing data.
  • Ability to follow complex guidelines and apply them consistently across large datasets.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage time and meet labeling targets.
  • Basic understanding of AI and machine learning concepts is a plus.
