Position: Student Counsellor and Processing Officer

Location: DHA Phase 7 Karachi

About Us:

Emigrants Consultants is dedicated to helping students achieve their educational and career goals. We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team in the role of Student Counsellor. In this position, you will provide guidance and support to prospective and enrolled students, ensuring they make informed decisions about their academic journey.

Responsibilities:

  • Student Guidance: Offer one-on-one counselling to students, addressing academic, career, and personal concerns.
  • Admissions Support: Assist students with the admission process, explaining requirements, procedures, and deadlines.
  • Program Selection: Help students explore and select suitable academic programs based on their interests and goals.
  • Application Assistance: Guide students through the application process, ensuring all necessary documents are submitted accurately and on time.
  • Meetings: Conduct meetings with prospective students to assess their aspirations and suitability for our programs.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain detailed and confidential student records, documenting interactions and progress.
  • Resource Referral: Connect students with relevant academic resources, tutoring services, and career development opportunities.
  • Stay Informed: Stay up to date with institutional policies, program offerings, and industry trends to better assist students.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Knowledge of university and college curriculum requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic student record systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with student information systems and databases.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
