Hiring IOS Developer - Onsite - Karachi

About Our Client:

It is a leading software development company specializing in B2B and B2C solutions, custom software development, and software exports, serving both local and international markets.
Job Responsibilities:

  1. iOS App Development: Design, build, and maintain advanced native iOS applications using Swift (and occasionally Objective-C if needed).
  2. UI/UX Implementation: Implement designs with a focus on responsiveness, usability, and Apples Human Interface Guidelines.
  3. API Integration: Consume and integrate RESTful APIs and handle data securely and efficiently using JSON, Codable, etc.
  4. Code Quality & Testing: Write clean, modular, and well-documented code. Implement unit tests and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality.
  5. Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to ensure feature completeness and performance.
  6. Performance Optimization: Identify and fix performance issues, memory leaks, and UI glitches.
  7. Version Control & Documentation: Use Git and maintain thorough documentation of development processes, app architecture, and functionality.
  8. Agile Participation: Participate in sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
  9. Prototyping & POCs: Build quick prototypes and proof-of-concept features to test usability or new technology feasibility.
  10. Continuous Learning: Stay up to date with new iOS features, frameworks, tools, and industry trends.
  11. App Store Management: Assist in App Store deployment, release notes, and responding to user feedback or crash reports.
  12. Cross-Team Support: Support QA, DevOps, and product teams to resolve bugs, support releases, or debug production issues.

Skills:

  • 3 years of experience in native iOS app development.

  • Strong command of Swift and familiarity with Objective-C (a plus).

  • Solid understanding of iOS frameworks (UIKit, Foundation, CoreData, Combine, etc.).

  • Experience releasing and maintaining apps in the App Store.

  • Experience with Xcode, Interface Builder, and debugging tools.

  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and platforms like GitHub or GitLab.

  • Experience in integrating RESTful APIs and handling JSON responses.

  • Strong knowledge of Apple Human Interface Guidelines and App Store standards.

  • Familiarity with SwiftUI, ARKit and building AR-enabled experiences (e.g., object tracking, scene rendering, motion handling).
