With a strong commitment to excellence, we are seeking a Finance Associate with proven experience in the travel industry to manage and enhance our financial operations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Financial Operations: Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable, receivable, and reconciliations, with a focus on travel agency-specific operations.
  • Industry Expertise: Oversee financial processes related to GDS transactions, airline ticketing, refunds, and vendor payments.
  • Budgeting & Reporting: Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and detailed financial reports tailored to travel business requirements.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, including tax filings, travel industry standards, and internal policies.
  • Reconciliations: Perform regular bank, BSP (Billing and Settlement Plan), and credit card reconciliations.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate financial records, including supplier contracts, client invoices, and agency agreements.
  • Audit Support: Prepare and provide necessary financial data for audits specific to travel operations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the ticketing, sales, and operations teams to align financial processes with business goals.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. ACCA, CA certifications, or equivalent are a plus.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum 2–4 years of financial management experience in the travel industry.
  • Strong knowledge of travel agency operations, including GDS systems, IATA regulations, and BSP processes.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in financial tools and travel-specific software (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo).
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel for financial modeling and analysis.
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of airline commission structures, refunds, and travel service invoicing.
  • Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to accuracy and detail in financial reporting.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
