About the Role

We are hiring a
Head Tutor (On‑site, Night Shift)
to lead and grow our
remote team of tutors
from our office in
Karachi
. You will own tutor Hiring,
testing (verbal & written)
,
daily instructional guidelines
,
team management
,
quality assurance
, and
escalations
across these subjects:
Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, General Science, Economics, and Biology etc.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and coach a
    remote tutor team
    ; set rosters, ensure coverage, monitor attendance and performance.
  • Design and administer
    verbal & written tests
    for hiring and periodic evaluations.
  • Issue
    daily subject‑wise guidelines
    (objectives, key problems, marking schemes, solution steps).
  • Review lessons/solutions, run
    QA checks
    , and deliver actionable feedback & micro‑trainings.
  • Handle complex academic queries and client/student
    escalations
    during the night shift.
  • Build and maintain
    item banks
    and
    rubrics
    ; analyze data and publish weekly quality reports.
  • Maintain a living
    knowledge base
    (best practices, rubrics, solution libraries).
  • Enforce
    safeguarding, academic integrity, and data privacy
    standards.

What You'll Bring

  • Master's degree
    in a relevant field (Math/Physics/Chemistry/Economics/Biology/Education or related).
  • 5+ years
    teaching/tutoring (online or in‑person) including
    2+ years
    leading or mentoring tutors.
  • Advanced multi‑subject command across
    Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, General Science, Economics, Biology
    .
  • Demonstrated skill in
    assessment design
    , rubric creation, and QA.
  • Excellent
    written & verbal
    communication; confident with verbal academic assessments.
  • Proficiency with EdTech/LMS tools (Google Workspace, Zoom/Meet, annotation/whiteboard tools).
  • Reliable hardware and a
    quiet, professional on‑site presence
    during night hours.

Schedule & Work Mode

  • On‑site (office‑based)
    in
    Karachi.
  • Night shift:
    e.g.,
    8:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m. PKT
    , Monday–Saturday.
