Role Description

This is a full-time remote role as a Full-Stack WordPress Developer. The developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining WordPress websites, ensuring performance, scalability, and functionality. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing custom themes and plugins, implementing SEO best practices, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing site performance. Collaboration with design, marketing, and content teams to ensure alignment on user experience and business goals is an integral part of the role.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in WordPress development, including creating custom themes and plugins
  • Experience with full-stack web development languages: PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL
  • Knowledge of website optimization and performance tuning techniques
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and web analytics tools
  • Strong understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
  • Experience with version control systems, such as Git, is a plus
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve website issues
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred
