Lab Phlebotomist

Job Description:

· Perform blood collection procedures, including venipuncture, fingersticks, and heelsticks, as required.

· Verify patient identity and ensure accurate labeling of specimens.

· Handle, store, and transport samples safely and efficiently to the laboratory.

· Maintain cleanliness and sterility of collection equipment and workspaces, following infection control protocols.

· Support laboratory staff in processing and organizing specimens.

· Perform documentation and data entry tasks using MS Office with intermediate proficiency.

· Follow a rotational shift schedule (morning, evening, night) and maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.

Qualification & Requirements:

· Minimum education level: Intermediate.

· 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in donor collection, clinical laboratory work, or a related field.

· Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients, donors, and team members.

· Willingness and ability to work in rotational shifts, including mornings, evenings, and nights.

· Must have personal conveyance for commuting purposes.
