Position: Assistant & Trainee Operator – Slitting and Lamination Department

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our Slitting and Lamination Department as an Assistant and Trainee Operator. This role is perfect for someone eager to learn industrial processing and grow their career within a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will assist in operating slitting and laminating machines, ensure product quality, and maintain a safe work area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist machine operators in the slitting and lamination process.
  • Set up and adjust machines for new jobs under supervision.
  • Feed materials into machines and monitor progress.
  • Inspect finished materials for quality and consistency.
  • Help troubleshoot minor equipment issues and conduct basic maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate records of production and machine performance.
  • Follow all safety protocols and maintain cleanliness in the working area.
  • Participate in on-the-job training to develop relevant technical skills.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
  • Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift materials, and operate machinery.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude is an advantage.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
