Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Corporate Lawyer located in Lahore. The Corporate Lawyer will be responsible for providing legal advice and support on various corporate legal matters. Day-to-day tasks will include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and representing the company in legal proceedings. The Corporate Lawyer will also work closely with different departments to provide guidance on legal risks and recommend strategies to mitigate those risks.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge and experience in Corporate Law, including contract law, company law, and mergers & acquisitions
  • Excellent legal writing and research skills
  • Proficiency in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and other legal documents
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Bar membership in good standing
  • Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent – a higher degree is a plus
  • Experience in the educational sector or working with universities is a plus
