Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Steel Structure Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the design, analysis, and execution of steel structures, particularly in pre-engineered buildings (PEB), industrial sheds, space frames, and other custom fabrication projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and analyze steel structures in accordance with international and local codes (AISC, UBC, ASCE, etc.)
  • Prepare structural drawings, GA (General Arrangement) drawings, and fabrication details using AutoCAD, Tekla, or similar software
  • Collaborate with architects, project managers, and site teams to ensure structural integrity and compliance
  • Conduct structural calculations, load analysis, and material estimation
  • Provide technical support for manufacturing and erection teams during fabrication and installation
  • Review and validate subcontractor drawings and designs
  • Prepare BOQs and cost estimates related to steel structures
  • Conduct site inspections and resolve on-site technical issues as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil / Structural Engineering; Master's is a plus
  • 3–5 years of experience in steel structure or PEB industry
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SAP2000, STAAD Pro, ETABS, Tekla Structures (preferred)
  • Solid understanding of fabrication processes, erection methods, and welding standards
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience working with companies specializing in:
  • Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB)
  • Steel space frames
  • Industrial sheds & exhibition halls
