A well-established distribution organization in Islamabad/Rawalpindi (Humak Industrial Area) is seeking a qualified and experienced individual for the following position:

Position: Accounts & Finance Assistant / Accountant

Experience: 2-4 years

Location: Islamabad/Rawalpindi

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and record financial transactions in QuickBooks for multiple FMCG distribution entities.
  • Prepare and analyze profit and loss statements for accuracy.
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Inventory.
  • Oversee accounting closing procedures with a focus on the FMCG industry.
  • Generate ad hoc management reports as required.
  • Conduct field visits to northern setups and prepare monthly audit reports.
  • Ensure timely reconciliation of sub-ledger and general ledger accounts.
  • Meet all deadlines and schedules in compliance with Service Level Agreements.
  • Document workflows, procedures, checklists, and policies related to assigned tasks.
  • Adhere to internal procedures, policies, and regulatory guidelines.

Requirements & Skills:

  • B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification.
  • 1-2 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience with QuickBooks is mandatory.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
  • Ability to apply independent judgment to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across different organizational levels.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate and share knowledge across different levels of the organization.
  • Detail-oriented, focused, and able to work in a professional environment.
