Position Summary

Japan Electronics, one of Pakistan's fastest-growing retail and consumer electronics brands, is seeking a talented and versatile Graphic Designer to join our in-house marketing and creative team. This role requires a strong blend of creativity, design expertise, and strategic thinking to support our brand across multiple digital and print platforms. Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in the electronics retail industry or an agency environment.

The ideal candidate should have a strong design sense, excellent command of visual storytelling, and the ability to deliver impactful creatives that align with our brand identity, marketing campaigns, and retail business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Creative Design & Branding

Conceptualize, design, and produce engaging creatives for digital and print, including social media posts, banners, reels, product visuals, packaging, flyers, brochures, POS material, email templates, and other marketing collateral.

Maintain brand consistency across all communication platforms by ensuring designs align with corporate guidelines.

Translate complex ideas into clean, visually appealing designs that communicate effectively to our target audience.

• Digital & Social Media Support

Create visual content for social media campaigns, product launches, promotions, and advertisements.

Support the digital marketing team with high-quality visuals for SEO, SEM, e-commerce platforms, and online campaigns.

Develop short-form video content, GIFs, and animations for enhanced audience engagement.

• Collaboration & Execution

Work closely with the Marketing, Retail, and Aftersales teams to understand project requirements and deliver creatives within deadlines.

Participate in brainstorming sessions and provide creative direction, innovative concepts, and design input.

Ensure timely execution of all design deliverables while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

• Research & Innovation

Stay updated on global design trends, digital content formats, and competitor strategies to keep the brand's visuals fresh and relevant.

Suggest innovative approaches to enhance customer engagement through design.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Media Arts, Marketing, or a related field.

Experience: 2–4 years of proven graphic design experience; prior work in electronics retail or advertising agency will be a strong advantage.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro).

Hands-on experience with Canva, CapCut, and other design/video editing tools.

Knowledge of HTML5/CSS basics and UI/UX will be a plus.

Creative Skills: Strong eye for detail, typography, layout, and visual hierarchy.

Soft Skills: Excellent communication, time management, and the ability to work both independently and in a collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Photography and videography skills for product and campaign shoots.

Familiarity with social media advertising platforms (Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, YouTube Ads).

Understanding of digital marketing fundamentals, SEO, and consumer behavior.
