Job Description
: Penetration Testing Engineer
to perform security assessments on applications, APIs, and systems. The role involves conducting penetration tests, vulnerability assessments, and code reviews using industry-standard frameworks and tools, while providing actionable remediation to strengthen overall security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform manual and automated penetration testing on web applications, APIs, and other systems.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and source code reviews to identify and exploit potential security issues.
  • Evaluate applications against industry standards such as OWASP ASVS, MASVS, and OWASP Top 10.
  • Use tools such as Burp Suite Pro, OWASP ZAP, SQLmap, Metasploit, and Nmap for testing and analysis.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging threats, security tools, and techniques to continuously improve technical expertise.
  • Develop comprehensive reports outlining findings, risk ratings, and actionable remediation recommendations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience.

Certifications

  • OSCP, CREST CRT, eWPT, Good Ranking at HacktheBOX or similar certifications.
