About Us

Our client is a growing textile manufacturing company specializing in high-quality knitted garments, particularly sweatshirts and hoodies. With a commitment to delivering world-class products, we are looking for an experienced QC/QA Manager to ensure consistent product quality, compliance with international standards, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Quality Control (In-Process & Final):
  • Oversee quality checks at all stages of production – knitting, cutting, stitching, finishing, and packaging.
  • Ensure measurements, stitching accuracy, fabric quality, trims, and embellishments meet buyer specifications.
  • Identify, document, and resolve defects or non-conformities promptly.
  • Quality Assurance (Systems & Standards):
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures, SOPs, and inspection guidelines.
  • Maintain compliance with international quality standards (AQL, ISO, buyer standards, etc.).
  • Coordinate with production teams to prevent recurring defects.
  • Client & Buyer Coordination:
  • Communicate directly with buyers/clients for quality requirements and audits.
  • Prepare inspection reports and maintain transparent documentation.
  • Facilitate buyer inspections and third-party audits.
  • Team Leadership & Training:
  • Train production staff and QC inspectors on quality standards.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, consistency, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in textile manufacturing, specifically in knitwear (sweatshirts, hoodies, fleece-based products).
  • Strong knowledge of fabric behavior, shrinkage, GSM, color fastness, and finishing techniques.
  • Hands-on experience in AQL inspection methods and international buyer standards.
  • Ability to lead quality teams with fairness, attention to detail, and a problem-solving mindset.
  • Excellent reporting, documentation, and communication skills.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience working with export-oriented apparel factories.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma in textiles.
  • Familiarity with sustainability and compliance certifications (GOTS, OEKO-TEX, WRAP, BSCI, etc.).
