Job Title: QA/QC Inspector – Structure & Finishing (Civil)

Job Location: Multan

Job Objective:

To ensure all structural and finishing works are executed in compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, and international quality standards. The QA/QC Inspector will be responsible for inspections, quality documentation, and coordination with project stakeholders to maintain quality benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect structural works including formwork, reinforcement, concrete placement, and steel works.
  • Monitor and inspect finishing works including block masonry, plaster, flooring (tiles, marble, granite), waterproofing, paint, false ceiling, joinery (doors/windows), and façade works.
  • Verify compliance of construction activities with approved drawings, project specifications, and international codes (ACI, ASTM, BS, etc.).
  • Review and maintain QA/QC documentation such as inspection requests, checklists, test reports, NCRs, and corrective actions.
  • Ensure proper implementation of method statements, ITPs, and quality control procedures for structural and finishing works.
  • Coordinate with site engineers, subcontractors, consultants, and client representatives for inspections and approvals.
  • Report quality issues, propose corrective actions, and follow up for closure.
  • Verify that approved materials are used at site and relevant quality tests are conducted.
  • Participate in quality audits and ensure compliance with the project quality plan.
  • Provide technical guidance to site teams to resolve quality-related concerns.

Key Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of structural and finishing works with QA/QC practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, technical specifications, and international standards.
  • Strong observation, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 QMS and project QA/QC documentation.
  • Good communication and coordination skills with multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Education: DAE (Civil) / B.Sc. Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Experience: Minimum 6 years of QA/QC experience in structural and finishing works on large-scale building/infrastructure projects.
  • Preferred Certifications: ISO 9001 QMS, QA/QC Inspector Training, or equivalent.
