Job Purpose:

The Executive – Production will be responsible for supervising, monitoring, and ensuring smooth execution of the furniture production process. The role involves coordinating with design, procurement, and quality teams to meet production targets, maintain quality standards, and ensure timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute daily/weekly production schedules according to customer orders and project timelines.
  • Supervise workers and ensure adherence to production processes, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Monitor production efficiency, reduce wastage, and optimize material usage.
  • Coordinate with design and engineering teams for technical drawings and specifications.
  • Ensure all furniture products meet quality standards before dispatch.
  • Maintain proper records of production, attendance, and material consumption.
  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks in the production process to meet deadlines.
  • Train and guide production staff on machinery usage and workmanship techniques.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Report to the Production Manager on progress, issues, and resource requirements.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of furniture manufacturing processes (wood, metal, upholstery, finishing).
  • Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
  • Leadership and team management skills.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Time management and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with production planning and ERP systems (preferred).

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Industrial Engineering, Furniture Design, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in furniture manufacturing / production environment.
  • Knowledge of modern machinery, tools, and finishing techniques.
